1. Digitalised Combats and Their Impact on Social Sustainability in Kenya and Nigeria
University essay from FörsvarshögskolanAbstract : In our era, digital technology is one of the fastest-changing areas. It impacts our private life, well-being, economics, politics and warfare. This essay intends to answer how digital transformation affects combats and state and non-state actors and also how these digitalised combats compromise social sustainability. READ MORE

2. End of Life Wind Turbine Blade Recycling : Challenges From an Environmental, Economic and Practical Viewpoint
University essay fromAbstract : The goal of the European Union is to make strides towards a circular economy. This means recycling or re-using as much of the material in the economic system as possible. The wind industry faces a great challenge in the years to come as huge quantities of increasingly larger wind turbines reach the end of their service-life. READ MORE

3. Black Hole Dynamics in Stellar Clusters
University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för astronomi och teoretisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation; Lunds universitet/Astronomi - Genomgår omorganisationAbstract : Star clusters can harbour many exotic objects, including black holes (BHs), X-ray binaries and blue straggler stars. In dense stellar environments like globular clusters (GCs), two-body relaxation drives their dynamical evolution, where gravitational interactions between stars strive to equalize their kinetic energy in the cluster. 4. Geometry studies of high energy 16O collisions
University essay from Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisationAbstract : In this project a model of oxygen, 16O, nuclei, where the nucleons are organised in α-clusters, was implemented in the Pythia Monte Carlo event generator. To study the effects of the new model, some observables, such as the distribution of the number of the wounded nucleons, charged particle multiplicity in the forward and central pseudorapidity region, and the pseudorapidity distribution for different centrality bins and eccentricity, are compared to the model originally implemented in Pythia (Woods-Saxon). 5. Development and Use of System Modeler 6DOF Flight Mechanics Model in Aircraft Conceptual Design
University essay from Linköpings universitet/Fluida och mekatroniska systemAbstract : This thesis presents a tool for conceptual design of a traditional configuration aircraft by using a parametric six degrees of freedom (6DOF) flight mechanics model implemented in the Modelica Language using Wolfram System Modeler. Being first only able to model and simulate the uncontrolled flight of an aircraft with fixed mass and centre of gravity (CG), and requiring detailed aerodynamic parameters as an input, the 6DOF model is improved by developing new features to reduce the number of required inputs while also increasing the data output of the simulations.
