  2. 2. Physics-Based Modelling for SEI and Lithium Plating During Calendar and Cycling Ageing

    University essay from KTH/Kemiteknik

    Author : Oskar Nordlander; [2022]
    Keywords : Lithium-ion Battery; Calendar Ageing; Cycling Ageing; Battery Degradation; Physics-Based Modelling; SEI; Lithium Plating; Litium-jonbatterier; Kalenderåldring; Cykling åldrande; Batteriåldrande; Fysikbaserad Modellering; SEI; Litium Plätering;

    Abstract : Målet med projektet var att undersöka samt implementera en fysikbaserad DFN modell för att simulera kalender samt cyklingåldrande av litiumbatterier som används i elbilar. Den fysikbaserade modellen var konstruerad baserad på ett Python biblioteket vid namn PyBaMM, vilket till skillnad från datadrivna modeller ger essentiell information om de kemiska processerna inuti batteriet. 4. 4. A re-investigation of hummocky moraine formed from ice sheet decay using geomorphological and sedimentological evidence in the Vomb area, southern Sweden

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Author : Tim Bjermo; [2022]
    Keywords : glacial geomorphology; remote sensing; LiDAR; sedimentology; glacitectonite; deformation structures; hummocky moraine; quaternary geology; deglaciation; glacial geomorfologi; fjärranalys; sedimentologi; glacitektonit; deformationstrukturer; småkullig morän; backlandskap; moränlandskap; kvartärgeologi; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Abstract : Glacial sediment-landform assemblages have long been used to reconstruct the dynamics of ice sheets throughout the Quaternary time period, particularly so for the period of the last glaciation in northern Europe and southern Scandinavia. One such sediment-landform assemblage is hummocky moraine, which has previously been used as an all-encompassing descriptive terminology strongly associated with dead ice meltout and passive deglaciation. 5. 5. A JVM-Managed Concurrent Unrolled List-Based Set Using Lazy Synchronization

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Adam Farhadi; [2021]
    Keywords : Concurrent Data Structures; Linked-Lists; List-Based Sets; Samverkande datastrukturer; länkade listor; listbaserade set;

    Abstract : The multicore revolution of the early 21st century has introduced a multitude of multiprocessor synchronization techniques for designing concurrent data structures. This thesis explores the concept of “unrolling”, or storing multiple data items per node, in order to increase the concurrent throughput of linked-lists, or more specifically list-based sets of linked nodes.
