  1. 1. Quantifying Middle Frequency Transient Currents in Power Consuming Devices

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för elektroteknik

    Author : Alex Lundvall; Vincent Sollie; [2021]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : The complexity of electrical systems present in vehicles is continuously rising and the number of interconnected electrical devices is growing during the strive for optimization and reaching higher efficiency levels. Actuation of said devices have the possibility of injecting voltage and current harmonics into the system, thus negatively affecting neighbouring devices. READ MORE

  2. 2. Shaft Current Protection

    University essay from KTH/Industriella informations- och styrsystem

    Author : Tin Rabuzin; [2015]
    Keywords : shaft current; Rogowski coil; generator protection; Merging Unit; process bus; axelströom; lagerströom; Rogowskispole; generatorskydd; Merging Unit; process bus;

    Abstract : Shaft current protection in hydro and turbo generators is an important generatorprotection issue. Currents owing in the generator shaft might damagegenerator bearings which, in turn, could reduce operating time and cause largenancial losses. Therefore, it is important to prevent operation of the generatorunder conditions of high shaft currents. READ MORE

  3. 3. Measurement of internal current densities during a HiPIMS discharge with a Rogowski coil

    University essay from Institutionen för fysik, kemi och biologi

    Author : Magnus Karlsson; [2011]
    Keywords : HiPIMS; HPPMS; plasma; electron transport; Rogowski coil;

    Abstract : In this study, the current densities in three different directions (r, φ and z) have been measured above the target during a HiPIMS discharge by the use of a Rogowski coil. This was done to examine the key transport parameter Jφ/JD┴ = ωge TEFF throughout the whole measured area, which is a key parameter describing how electrons are transported across magnetic field lines.
