  1. 1. Designa genom boendesamverkan och med fokus på biologisk mångfald : ett gestaltningsförslag för Bostadsrättsföreningen Stenmårdens bostadsgård, Malmö

    University essay from SLU/Dept. of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management (from 130101)

    Author : Erica Karlsson; Ida Hultman; [2024]
    Keywords : bostadsgård; användarvänlighet; boendemedverkan; biologisk mångfald; biodiversitet; biotoper; urbana habitat; boende; inkludering; medborgardialog; landskapsarkitektur; Stenmården;

    Abstract : Urbana miljöer står idag inför flera olika utmaningar, där ytorna ska rymma flertalet funktioner och tillgodose en rad olika behov och intressen. Den bostadsnära utemiljön, som bostadsgården utgör, är även den en begränsad yta som står till svars inför flertalet förväntningar. READ MORE

  2. 2. Urban Downpour : The Path Towards Sustainable Stormwater Management in four Swedish Municipalities

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Kulturgeografiska institutionen

    Author : Astrid Bergström Hurtig; [2024]
    Keywords : climate resilience; urban planning; blue-green infrastructure; water-sensitive urban design; ecological urbanism; institutional dynamics; adaptive policies;

    Abstract : Swedish municipalities increasingly prioritize blue-green infrastructure in response to the changing climate and precipitation. This study focuses on Norrköping, Huddinge, Nyköping, and Kalmar and how urban planning develops strategies for implementing blue-green infrastructure. READ MORE

  3. 3. Data-Driven Reachability Analysis of Pedestrians Using Behavior Modes : Reducing the Conservativeness in Data-Driven Pedestrian Predictions by Incorporating Their Behavior

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : August Söderlund; [2023]
    Keywords : Data-driven reachability analysis; Autonomous vehicles; Automated safety; Autonomous situational awareness; Datadriven nåbarhetsanalys; Autonoma fordon; Automatiserad säkerhet; Autonom situationsmedvetenhet;

    Abstract : Predicting the future state occupancies of pedestrians in urban scenarios is a challenging task, especially considering that conventional methods need an explicit model of the system, hence introducing data-driven reachability analysis. Data-driven reachability analysis uses data, inherently produced by an unknown system, to perform future state predictions using sets, generally represented by zonotopes. READ MORE

  4. 4. Customizable Contraction Hierarchies for Mixed Fleet Vehicle Routing : Fast weight customization when not adhering to triangle inequality

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Martin Larsson; [2023]
    Keywords : Contraction Hierarchies; Customizable Contraction Hierarchies; Vehicle Routing Problem; Battery Electric Vehicles; Mixed Fleet; Kontraktionshierarkier; Anpassningsbara Kontraktionshierarkier; Ruttplanering; Batteridrivna elfordon; Blandad fordonsflotta;

    Abstract : As the transport industry shifts towards Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) the need for accurate route planning rises. BEVs have reduced range compared to traditional fuel based vehicles, and the range can vary greatly depending on ambient conditions and vehicle load. READ MORE

  5. 5. Route Planning of Battery Electric Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicles : Using Contraction Hierarchies and Mixed Integer Programming

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Datalogi

    Author : Olle Delborg; Elias Insulander; [2023]
    Keywords : route planning; route optimization; contraction hierarchies; mixed integer programming; vehicle routing problem; electric trucks; electric vehicles; battery; openstreetmap; shortest path; Dijkstra;

    Abstract : This thesis addresses route planning of Battery Electric Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicles to enhance the reliability of electric vehicle transport. Collaborating with Scania, a Swedish truck manufacturing company, the goal is to develop a pipeline that uses open source data from OpenStreetMap and performs a modified Contraction Hierarchy in order to create a graph that can be used as input to a modified Vehicle Routing Problem formulation using Mixed Integer Programming.
