Abstract: The user-centered design or usability design or human computer interaction there are very close or similar concept, and a very wide subject of study. The Rational Unified Process is very complex by itself. There are many criticisms again The Rational Unified process because it is alleged lack of tools and helps in the user-centered development. Relating these areas by finding out the relationships between the end-user (central point in the user-centered), and the Rational Unified Process in the software development process is the purpose of this study. The study process was divided in three parts: the review of the existing literature about the two main areas, in order to generate relationships between them. Then using the relationships as a foundation for the research, and verifying the relationships.
