Access to Medicines Through Regionally Restricted Licenses

Abstract: Importance of the business and human rights field for solving the conflict between pharmaceutical patents and the provision of access to medicines. The author suggests an original approach named Regionally Restricted Licenses as a way to solve the conflict and provide access to essential medicines in a systematic and sustainable manner.
