Methods of analyses, providing and differentiation schemes Quality of Service in Optical Packet/Burst Switched Networks

Abstract: This thesis presents the idea of providing QoS in All-Optical Networks. The thesis investigates available mechanisms of differentiation services in Optical Packet/Burst Networks. It provides an overview of current state-of-art in this domain together with literature research in order to evaluate and present qualitative and quantitative comparison of three chosen algorithms which are suitable for providing QoS in OPS/OBS networks. The thesis includes also research in teletraffic modeling of Optical Networks.
