What did COVID-19 do to Communication Skills? An Exploration of Swedish High-Growth Firms

Abstract: The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic affected the internal communication within organizations of different sizes, including high-growth firms. Therefore, this research examines how the CEOs recognition of the importance of communication skills –within informal interactions– may have implications for the overall development of the growing firm. Furthermore, it analyzes how face-to-face interactions have been replaced by web conferencing tools in the case of remote work.
