Construction and Analysis of a CloudBased Mobile Token Distribution Server

Abstract:

This report treats the ques tion of what “the cloud” is, and one way of approaching it for aspecific service. The area is relatively new and it is not a straight forward process to produce a cloud service. By extracting those definitions and suggestions that exists up to this day, the reader will be provided a fundamental understanding of how to deploy a cloud service, including the security considerations that are required. The result is presented with an analysis of a construction of an existing mobile token distribution server. The analysis serves as an example of how to approach “the cloud” and reveals the importance of preparing your service to be scalable and what can be done to achieve confidentiality, integrity and availability.
