Using Boosted Decision Trees in the Search for Heavy Neutral Higgs Bosons in the ATLAS Experiment

Abstract: A search for heavy neutral Higgs bosons in the τ_μ τ_had channel is presented. The analysis was performed using approximately 32 fb^−1 of 13 TeV proton-proton collision data with the ATLAS detector and improves upon earlier ATLAS searches through the use of Boosted Decision Trees (BDT).
