Working with Attitude Change - A qualitative study of attitude change and job-satisfaction

University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

Abstract: The aim of this study is to generate an understanding of how professionals work with attitude change, and their sense of job-satisfaction. The six participants, three males and three females, from both public and private sectors, were interviewed twice. The first interview was analyzed thematically and the second was analyzed through a narrative method. The interviews showed that people in this study who worked with attitude change are using the theories on the subject but that they are not always aware of this. The participants base their strategies on experience rather than scientific research on the issue. They all feels satisfied with their job, especially those who share the same values as their organization, but they all think that the amount of feedback is too small.
