  1. 1. Factors governing marble lightness in peripheral alteration haloes around carbonate-hosted Zn-Pb-Ag-(Cu-Au) deposits, Garpenberg, Sweden

    University essay from Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurser

    Author : Marcus Eriksson; [2020]
    Keywords : Carbonate; Zn; Pb; Ag; Cu; Au; Alteration haloes; marble; lightness; Bergslagen; Garpenberg;

    Abstract : A Master thesis about the Garpenberg deposit located in Bergslagen, a lithotectonic domain, with a mining history that might date back as far as 350 BC. Marble- and skarn-hosted sulfide deposits are found in the area, which creates the opportunity to mine both limestone and sulfidic ore in a single mine. READ MORE

  2. 2. Resolving temporal links between the Högberget granite and the Wigström tungsten skarn deposit in Bergslagen (Sweden) using trace elements and U-Pb LA-ICPMS on complex zircons

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Author : Anders Plan; [2020]
    Keywords : Bergslagen; Wigström; Högberget; geochronology; geochemistry; U-Pb; REE; trace element; zircon; hydrothermal zircon; LA-ICPMS; SEM; skarn; tungsten; wolfram; scheelite; deposit; ore; critical raw material; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Abstract : Combined U-Pb and REE trace element LA-ICPMS analyses were performed on zircons, from the scheelite-bearing Wigström skarn, associated micro-granitic dykes and the highly evolved parental Högberget (sensu stricto) granite. Combined systematic of zircon typology and microtextures, trace elements and isotopic chemistry suggest the presence of several diverse zircon types, spanning from early- to late- magmatic stage into a hydrothermal stage. 3. 3. Petrography, alteration and structure of the Bronäs Zn-Pb-Ag deposits, Bergslagen, Sweden

    University essay from Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurser

    Author : Tom Turner; [2020]
    Keywords : Bronäs; Sala;

    Abstract : This report aims to characterize the alteration styles and mineralization of the Zn-Pb-Ag Bronäs deposit, in the Sala area of the Bergslagen mining district, Sweden.  It presents data collected through 237m of lithological logging and subsequent lithogeochemical data, which, coupled with thin section and SEM analysis has led to the first geological descriptions of the rocks in the deposit. 4. 4. Temporal and genetical constraints of the Cu-Co Vena-Dampetorp deposit, Bergslagen, Sweden

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Author : Dino Leopardi; [2020]
    Keywords : Bergslagen; Vena; Dampetorp; Cu-Co; sulphide melting; Bastnäs-type; cobaltite; arsenopyrite; titanite dating; sulphide mineralization; sulphide re-mobilisation.; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Abstract : The Bergslagen Province is known for containing major Zn-Pb-Ag and Zn-Pb-Cu-Ag sulphide mineralizations with associated iron-oxide skarns and a lot of research have focused on understanding them. However, Cu-Co deposits like the Vena-Dampetorp deposit have received less attention. READ MORE

  5. 5. Förmögenhetsutveckling vid skogsöverlåtelser : överlåtelseformens påverkan på parternas finansiella ställning över tid

    University essay from SLU/Dept. of Economics

    Author : Carl Filip Hjälte; Magnus Wretemark; [2019]
    Keywords : generationsskifte; skog; förmögenhetsutveckling; skogsägande; skogsöverlåtelse;

    Abstract : En stor andel av svenskt skogsbruk bedrivs inom ramarna för familjeägda, ofta mindre, skogsfastigheter. Generationsskiftena utgör en utmaning för dessa familjeskogsbruk, bland annat på grund av de stora värdena i fastigheten, de långa omloppstiderna, skattelagstiftningen och syskons lagenliga krav på kompensation.
