  1. 1. Evaluation of Discrete-Time Wideband Receivers for NB-IoT

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Author : Magnus Wasting; [2021]
    Keywords : Discrete; time; filter; NB-IoT; Charge; Sharing; CMOS; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : A receiver that covers several RF bands requires multiple front-end filters which increases the cost in terms of components and/or board/silicon area. Front-end filters assist a receiver to withstand interference at multiples of its down-conversion frequency. READ MORE

  2. 2. Integrated antenna switch for NB-IoT

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Author : Fredrik Zetterblom; Yunus Dawji; [2018]
    Keywords : T R Transmit Receive switch; RF switch; integrated RF switch; Narrowband Internet of Things NB-IoT ; CMOS; frontend; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : Transistors are used in all digital devices today. The demand of faster and smaller devices such as mobile telephones and computers constantly drives the develop- ment of smaller transistor technologies. Transistors can also be used in analog applications. Today there are commercial chips with both radio and digital sys- tems in the same package. READ MORE

  3. 3. Analog Baseband Implementation of a Wideband Observation Receiver for RF Applications

    University essay from Linköpings universitet/Elektroniska Kretsar och System

    Author : Gustaf Svensson; [2016]
    Keywords : observation receiver RF IC analog baseband digital pre-distortion feedback;

    Abstract : During the thesis, a two-staged analog baseband circuit incorporating a passive analog filter and a wideband voltage amplifier were successfully designed, implemented in an IC mask layout in a 65nm CMOS technology, and joined with a previously designed analog front-end design to form a wideband observation receiver. The baseband circuit is capable of receiving an IF bandwidth up to 990MHz produced by the analog front-end using low-side injection. READ MORE

  4. 4. A Driver Circuit for Body-Coupled Communication

    University essay from Elektroniksystem

    Author : Abdulah Korishe; [2013]
    Keywords : Body-Coupled Communication BCC ; Body Area Network BAN ; Driver Circuit; Tri-state; Transmitter;

    Abstract : The main concept of Body-Coupled Communication (BCC) is to transmit the electrical information through the human body as a communication medium by means of capacitive coupling. Nowadays the current research of wireless body area network are expanding more with the new ideas and topologies for better result in respect to the low power and area, security, reliability and sensitivity since it is first introduced by the Zimmerman in 1995.
