    Abstract : This thesis combines the early studies on degree of involvement with the contemporary studies on nature of involvement in order to answer the research question "How do the degree and nature of Scandinavian VC involvement in post-investment activities impact performance of their portfolio companies?" In doing this, a distinction between a focus on support and focus on monitoring & control is made.
