1. Evaluating the impact of agriculture on albedo using Sentinel-2 data in southern Sweden
University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskapAbstract : The climate impact of food production plays a big part in the anthropogenic climate impact. Mitigation strategies from this sector are hence of great importance. One area which mainly has been used to calculate climate impact is albedo, the overall reflectance of incoming radiation in all directions. READ MORE

2. Design of an Embedded Torque Sensor : Based on Volumetric Strain induced Differential Air Pressure
University essay from Mittuniversitetet/Institutionen för elektronikkonstruktionAbstract : This paper proposes a torque sensor based on the differential air pres- sure measurement method using a new embedded structure. The pro- posed sensor design is an improvement over the previous sensor design. The mechanical sensitivity, resolution, and stress distribution of the new sensor are analyzed by finite element modeling. READ MORE

3. Light-activated gas sensing with copper oxide micro- and nanostructures
University essay from KTH/FysikAbstract : Metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) gas sensors have proven to be useful in many applications, ranging from detection of hazardous gases to monitoring of air quality. The demand for power efficient and high performance gas sensors has seen an increase in situations facing contemporary society. READ MORE

4. Data-driven Dynamic Baseline Calibration Method for Gas Sensors
University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Abstract : Automatic Baseline Correction is the state-of-the-art calibration method of non-dispersive infrared CO2 sensing, which is the standard CO2 gas monitoring method. In this thesis, we improve it by introducing the dynamic baseline based on environmental data. READ MORE

5. E-noses equipped with Artificial Intelligence Technology for diagnosis of dairy cattle disease in veterinary
University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Abstract : The main goal of this project, running at Neurofy AB, was that developing an AI recognition algorithm also known as, gas sensing algorithm or simply recognition algorithm, based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, which would have the ability to detect or predict diary cattle diseases using odor signal data gathered, measured and provided by Gas Sensor Array (GSA) also known as, Electronic Nose or simply E-nose developed by the company. Two major challenges in this project were to first overcome the noises and errors in the odor signal data, as the E-nose is supposed to be used in an environment with difference conditions than laboratory, for instance, in a bail (A stall for milking cows) with varying humidity and temperatures, and second to find a proper feature extraction method appropriate for GSA.
