    Abstract : As alternative media and its dangers have become increasingly established in the last few years and got to the forefront of Swedish politics because of the planned murder of Sweden politician Annie Lööf, this study aims to look into if far-right politicians use alternative media in order to spread their message using the research question: Do politicians of the Swedish Democrats spread more alternative media on their social media accounts than politicians of the mainstream conservative Moderates? The result of this research question was a positive causality where Sweden democrats to a statistically significant degree do post more links to alternative media than moderates politicians meaning they most certainly do. The most interesting thing about this study may be that politicians with a higher position within the party, and thus should be most in the know with the potentially damaging aspects of alternative media, post the most.
