  1. 1. Takagi-Sugeno and Mamdani Fuzzy Control of a Resort Management System

    University essay from Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Sektionen för ingenjörsvetenskap

    Author : Lujiao Tan; [2012]
    Keywords : Fuzzy set theory; Takagi-Sugeno Controller; Mamdani Controller; Resort Management System; T-norms; OWA;

    Abstract : By means of fuzzy set theory as well as Takagi-Sugeno and Mamdani fuzzy controller, this paper presents the investigation of a Resort Management System implemented by a combination of a T-S model and a Mamdani model. It demonstrates the procedure of the specific premise parameters identification and consequence parameters identification performed by regression knowledge in the T-S model, and the process of the fuzzification, the rule base creation and the defuzzification with COG technique in the Mamdani model. 2. 2. FUZZY CONTROL

    University essay from Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Sektionen för ingenjörsvetenskap

    Author : WASEEM GHOUS; [2010]
    Keywords : fuzzy control; Mamdani control;

    Abstract : During the past several years, fuzzy control has emerged as one of the most active and fruitful areas for research in the applications of fuzzy set theory, especially in the realm of industrial process, which do not lend themselves to control by conventional methods because of a lack of quantitative data regarding the input-output relation. In this dissertation, after describing the advantages of fuzzy control we verify the equation of motion s=vt for an automobile by taking distance and speed as inputs and time as output, a hotel model is also discussed with two discrete inputs, food and service quality and one continuous output percentage of guests. 3. 3. Optimal Power Control in Cognitive Radio Networks with Fuzzy Logic

    University essay from Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Sektionen för ingenjörsvetenskap

    Author : Jhang Shih Yu; [2010]
    Keywords : cognitive radio networks; channel gain; relative distance; fuzzy control; spectrum sharing; path loss; power control; quality of service;

    Abstract : In this thesis, we consider a pair of primary link (PU link) and a pair of cognitive link (CR link) in a fading channel. The PU link and CR link share spectrum simultaneously with different priorities, establishing the spectrum sharing network. The PU link has a higher priority to utilize spectrum with respect to the CR link. READ MORE
