  1. 1. In-Situ Investigation of Particle Assisted GaSb Nucleation Using Environmental TEM

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntes

    Author : Aidas Urbonavicius; [2023]
    Keywords : ETEM; Nucleation; GaSb; Nanowires; Materials chemistry; Technology and Engineering; Chemistry;

    Abstract : III-V semiconductor material based nanowires have been extensively studied and shown to be a very exciting building block for future electronics. Material systems such as GaSb show a lot of promise in optoelectric and thermoelectric generation applications because of its high electron mobility and small bandgap. READ MORE

  2. 2. Spectromorphological Reductions : Exploring and developing approaches for sound-based notation of live electronics

    University essay from Luleå tekniska universitet/Musik, medier och teater

    Author : Hans Lennart Jonsäll; [2023]
    Keywords : live electronics; electronic music; electroacoustic music; notation; spectromorphology; typo-morphology; Sound Notation; digital musical instruments.;

    Abstract : In this master’s thesis, a sound-based notation system is explored and developed in the composition and performance of a musical work for live electronics. My approach builds on existing systems for electroacoustic music analysis, most notably Dennis Smalley’s (1997) theory of spectromorphology and the symbolic language of Lasse Thoresen & Andreas Hedman (2007) based on Pierre Schaeffer’s typo-morphology, as well as Mattias Sköld’s (2023) adaptation of this system for composition and transcription (Sound Notation). 3. 3. Design and implementation of an energy harvesting system in a prosthetic limb

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Ódinn K. Rúnarsson; [2023]
    Keywords : Energy harvesting; Prosthetic limbs; Supercapacitors; Printed circuit boards; 3D printing; Energiinsamling; Lemmproteser; Superkondensatorer; Tryckta kretskort; 3D Utskrivning; Orkuöflun; Gervilimir; Ofurþéttar; Prentaðar rafrásir; Þrívíddarprentun;

    Abstract : Energy Harvesting, also known as power harvesting or ambient power, is the process of obtaining small amounts of power from secondary sources, such as vibrations, light, temperature variations and even radio-frequency emissions. These systems have been uncommon in personal and wearable electronics in the past, however they are slowly gaining traction. READ MORE
