  1. 1. Further Developing Preload Lists for the Tor Network

    University essay from Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för matematik och datavetenskap (from 2013)

    Author : Daniel Bahmiary; [2023]
    Keywords : Tor; DNS; Preload list; Crawling; Tor; DNS; Preload lista; Webbkrypning;

    Abstract : A recently proposed defense for the anonymity network Tor uses preload lists of domains to determine what should be cached in the Domain Name System (DNS) caches of Tor relays. The defense protects against attacks that infer what is cached in Tor relays. READ MORE

    Abstract : This report presents a master thesis project at KTH at the school of Engineering Science. The project is done in collaboration with ABB Robotics, a company who develops industrial robots. A robot consists of several parts and the last structural part is the wrist. READ MORE

  3. 3. Classification of ultrasonic signals using machine learning to identify optimal frequency for elongation control : Threaded fastening tools

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Mazen Bahy; [2022]

    Abstract : Studying the preload in a screw joint has been the focus of today’s industry. The manufacturer reflects that demand by investigating different opportunities and techniques to develop this area. There are four different ways of controlling the tightening of bolts and joints to achieve the required clamp force that can hold for a specific preload. READ MORE

  4. 4. Identification of Potential Sources of Measurement Errors in an Isokinetic Dynamometer : Reliability Analysis of Shoulder Abduction and Flexion Data

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)

    Author : Malena Grannerud; [2022]

    Abstract : The evaluation of shoulder abduction and flexion strength is important in the rehabilitation after rotator cuff tear. The purpose of this work is to assess the intra and inter-rater reliability of measurement data from an isokinetic dynamometer used to evaluate shoulder abduction and flexion strength, with the aim to identify sources of measurement errors and suggest improvements. 5. 5. Simulation of ultrasonic time of flight in bolted joints

    University essay from KTH/Hållfasthetslära

    Author : David Chlebek; [2021]
    Keywords : Acoustoelastic effect; User material subroutine; Murnaghan hyperelastic material model; Explicit FEM; Ultrasonic preload; Fortran; Akustoelastiska effekten; Användar material; Murnaghan hyperelastisk materialmodell; Explicit FEM; Ultraljudsmätning av klämkraft; Fortran;

    Abstract : Ultrasonic measurements of the preload in bolted joints is a very accurate method since it does not depend on the friction and other factors which cause difficulties for common methods. The ultrasonic method works by emitting an ultrasonic pulse into the bolt which is reflected at the end and returned to the transducer, the change in the time of flight (TOF) can be related to the elongation of the bolt and therefore the preload.
