  1. 1. The potential of Schistosoma-derived substances for use as basis for novel anti-haemostatic therapeutics: : A systematic review

    University essay from Örebro universitet/Institutionen för medicinska vetenskaper

    Author : Jonas Li; [2021]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Background: Parasites belonging to the Schistosoma genus exert an anti-haemostatic net effect upon infection of a definitive host, despite numerous mechanisms that should be pro-haemostatic. The anti-haemostatic mechanisms are thus highly interesting, as they may be leveraged for use as basis for novel anti-haemostatic therapeutics. READ MORE

  2. 2. Identification of metabolite-protein interactions among enzymes of the Calvin Cycle in a CO2-fixing bacterium

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)

    Author : Emil Sporre; [2020]
    Keywords : Cupriavidus necator; chemolithoautotroph; limited proteolysis; Calvin Cycle; carbon fixation; proteomics; allosteric regulation; metabolite-protein interactions.;

    Abstract : The Calvin – Benson cycle is the most widespread metabolic pathway capable of fixing CO2 in nature and a target of very high interest to metabolic engineers worldwide. In this study, 12 metabolites (ATP, AMP, NADP, NADPH, 2PG, 3PGA, FBP, RuBP, PEP, AKG, Ac-CoA and phenylalanine) were tested for protein – metabolite interactions against the proteome of Cupriavidus necator (previously Ralstonia eutropha) in the hopes of finding potential examples of allosteric regulation of the Calvin – Benson cycle. 3. 3. Creativity and Psychological Safety: A proposed model on the links between psychological safety, ambiguity tolerance, playfulness and creativity

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

    Author : Anna Bornemisza; [2013]
    Keywords : organizational creativity; play; adult playfulness; ambiguity tolerance; psychological safety; theoretical model; Social Sciences;

    Abstract : Creativity has been of research interest for centuries and its relationship with other constructs has been established; however, these links mostly study creativity with a single other construct. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between psychological safety, tolerance of ambiguity, playfulness and creativity; they have been individually linked together but no complex model encompassing them all is known to the author.
