  1. 1. Design and Simulation of a 10kW High-Efficiency Dual Active Bridge Converter

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Fan Yang; [2023]
    Keywords : Converter Design; Dual Active Bridge; Single Phase Shift Modulation; Extended Phase Shift Modulation; Efficiency Estimation; Konverterdesign; Dual Active Bridge; Single Fas Shift Modulation; Extended Phase Shift Modulation; Effektivitetsuppskattning;

    Abstract : The EU has proposed an ambitious goal to achieve widespread E-mobility in both the electrical and commercial sectors. To accomplish this, a substantial number of DC fast-charging stations must be built. READ MORE

  2. 2. An MMC-based topology with Dual-Active-Bridge power channels for load balancing in 50 Hz-railway applications

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektro- och systemteknik (EES)

    Author : Andreas Zafeiropoluos; [2017]
    Keywords : Power electronics; STATCOM; MMC; power channel; power quality; negativesequence compensation; high-speed trains;

    Abstract : The purpose of this thesis report is to investigate challenges related to railway electrification. Inac-railway systems, trains are most often single-phase loads, which can create significantunbalances in the grid, when fed directly from two adjacent phases. READ MORE

  3. 3. Active rectification and control of magnetization currents in synchronous generators with rotating exciters : Implementation of the SVPWM algorithm using MOSFET technology

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Elektricitetslära

    Author : Tomas Johansson; [2015]
    Keywords : rectification; SVPWM; space vector pulse width modulation; current control; active rectification; three phase;

    Abstract : This thesis aims to design and build a power electronics system for the rectification and control of magnetization currents in synchronous generators with rotating exciters.The rotating exciter provides three-phase AC while the generator rotor needs DC with a high degree of control. 4. 4. The Consumer Rights Directive : Improved as a cross-border-only Regulation and toward a European Consumer Code influenced by the Common Frame of Reference?

    University essay from IHH, Rättsvetenskap

    Author : Filip Lindahl; [2013]
    Keywords : Consumer Rights Directive; Cross-border-only Regulation; Euro-pean Consumer Code; Common Frame of Reference;

    Abstract : The proposal of the European Commission for a Consumer Rights Directive in 2008 marked the culmination of the review of the acquis communautaire in the area of consumer contract law within the EU, launched in 2003 with the Action Plan for European Contract Law. Even though it was not initially restricted to consumer contract law, but concerned the contract law as a whole and targeted toward achieving a more coherent regu-latory framework without making a sharp distinction between B2B and B2C transactions, the final version of the Consumer Rights Directive has the specific aim of creating a real business-to-consumer Internal Market.
