1. A unified view of a family of soliton equations related to spin Calogero-Moser systems
University essay from KTH/FysikAbstract : We study the interconnections between the spin Benjamin-Ono (sBO) and half-wave maps (HWM) equations, a pair of nonlinear partial integro-differential equations that have recently been found to permit multi-soliton solutions, where the time evolution of the constituent solitons can be described in terms of the well-known, completely integrable, spin Calogero-Moser (sCM) system. By considering a symmetry transformation of the sCM dynamics we are led to introduce a scale parameter into the sBO equation, yielding what we call the rescaled sBO (rsBO) equation, which has both the sBO and HWM equations as special cases. 2. On a novel soliton equation, its integrability properties, and its physical interpretation
University essay from KTH/FysikAbstract : In the present work, we introduce a never before studied soliton equation called the intermediate mixed Manakov (IMM) equation. Through a pole ansatz, we prove that the equation has N-soliton solutions with pole parameters governed by the hyperbolic Calogero-Moser system. READ MORE

3. Solitons in High Energy Physics
University essay from Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisationAbstract : Solitons are solutions to classical field equations that are particle like, meaning they are localized in space, have definite energy and can be stable against deformations into the vacuum. In this thesis we investigate under which circumstances such solutions may exist and what effects their existence could have. READ MORE
