    Abstract : Since the introduction of the co-decision procedure in the European Union (EU), the Council of the EU and the European Parliament have become more interdependent in order to reach an agreement on a legislative file. The interdependence has led to a significant increase in the number of trilogues, which is problematic as these informal meetings are secluded and have no references to the treaties. READ MORE
