  1. 1. Energy in the Transportation System - A comparison of charging infrastructure scenarios

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Industriell elektroteknik och automation

    Author : Judith Lai Jakobsson; [2023]
    Keywords : Charging infrastructure; road transport electrification; battery capacity need; electric vehicles; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : A functioning charging infrastructure is crucial for achieving full-scale national electrification within the transport sector. The system is likely to consist of different charging technologies, all with the main objective of providing efficient energy replenishment services. READ MORE

  2. 2. Characterisation of Ionic Liquid doped Polybenzimidazole Membranes for Application in High-Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Kemiteknik (CI)

    Author : Adam Jacobsson Trönndal; [2023]
    Keywords : Fuel cells; Phosphoric acid; Polybenzimidazole; PA-PBI; Ionic liquid; IL; High temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell; HT-PEMFC; Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy; EIS; IL-PBI; Chemical engineering; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : In this study four membranes were tested and evaluated against each other for use in high-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell (HT-PEMFC) applications. A phosphoric acid (PA) doped polybenzimidazole (PBI) membrane, was used as a reference as the current state-of-the-art. READ MORE

  3. 3. Green Coacervates for Pharma and Food

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Livsmedelsteknik och nutrition (master)

    Author : Izabella Imets; Andreas Vallin; [2022]
    Keywords : MSc; coacervate; biosurfactant; biopolymer; SAXS; DLS; elliposometry; pharmaceutical technology; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : Anionic biosurfactant-cationic biopolymer systems were investigated to identify and characterize a coacervation window. The characterization of the systems was performed with dynamic light scattering, small angle x-ray scattering and in-situ ellipsometry. READ MORE

  4. 4. Geometry studies of high energy 16O collisions

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisation

    Author : Aliaksei Kuzmenka; [2022]
    Keywords : Ion Collisions; Oxygen; Physics and Astronomy;

    Abstract : In this project a model of oxygen, 16O, nuclei, where the nucleons are organised in α-clusters, was implemented in the Pythia Monte Carlo event generator. To study the effects of the new model, some observables, such as the distribution of the number of the wounded nucleons, charged particle multiplicity in the forward and central pseudorapidity region, and the pseudorapidity distribution for different centrality bins and eccentricity, are compared to the model originally implemented in Pythia (Woods-Saxon). 5. 5. Intermediate layer contacts for tandem solar cells based on ALD SnO2

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för fysik och astronomi

    Author : Georgia Iona; [2021]
    Keywords : Ald; SnO2; tandem cell; solar cell; IML; intermediate layer;

    Abstract : In this project, samples with a metal/semiconductor/metal structure were fabricated and investigated with the potential application as the interconnecting layer of a tandem solar cell in mind. Degenerately doped p-Si and n-Si were used as bottom (metal like) contacts, as Si represents one of the most common materials for the bottom cell of tandem devices. READ MORE
