  1. 1. First principles investigation of the thermal conductivity of Zr, ZrC, and ZrN

    University essay from KTH/Fysik

    Author : Daniel Karlsson; [2023]
    Keywords : Electron-phonon interaction; Density functional theory; Boltzmann transport equation; first-principles; thermal conductivity; electrical resistivity; Abinit; Phono3py; Elektron-fononväxelverkan; täthetsfunktionalteori; Boltzmanns transportekvation; värmeledningsförmåga; elektrisk resistivitet; Abinit; Phono3py;

    Abstract : The thermal conductivity and electrical resistivity of Zr, ZrC, and ZrN were calculated using first-principles density functional theory (DFT) and the Boltzmann transport equation. The electron-phonon scattering was modeled via the self-energy relaxation time approximation (SERTA), and the phonon-phonon scattering via the analogous single-mode relaxation time approximation (SMRTA). 2. 2. Characterization of a novel EPHB2 R155C mutant with respect to its proteolytic cleavage by TF/FVIIa

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildning

    Author : Ece Akcan; [2021]
    Keywords : cancer; colorectal cancer; CRC; ephrin receptor; EPHB2; tissue factor; TF; TF FVIIa; cleavage; cell repulsion;

    Abstract : EPHB2, an ephrin receptor (EPH) from receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family, is one of the substrates for tissue factor (TF) - coagulation factor VIIa (FVIIa) complex and it is cleaved in its ectodomain. EPHB2 cleavage is important for ephrin receptor (EPH) - ephrin ligand (EFN) signaling and cell repulsion. READ MORE

  3. 3. Comparing SKF and Erbessd sensor integration for predictivemaintenance

    University essay from Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Author : William Sjöström; [2021]
    Keywords : Predictive Maintenance;

    Abstract : The purpose of this thesis was to compare two integration’s of sensors, into a system called Enlight, but could in theoryhave been integrated to most systems. As a pre-study, the specifications and availability of five sensors were researched.From the pre-study, Smart Edge 4.0 and Phantom EPH-V11/10 from Erbessd, were chosen and then integrated. READ MORE
