  1. 1. Assessment and evaluation of heterogeneity in data from immune infiltration spatial niches in lung cancer

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistik

    Author : Mahta Keivani Najafabadi; [2023]
    Keywords : Mathematics and Statistics;

    Abstract : The protein biomarker expressions in three types of sampled immune INFILTration spatial niches in lung cancer tissue were measured using the new technology Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP). The three types of immune INFILTration that were observed in lung tumors were STROMA identified as immune cells separate from tumor cells, Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) identified as dense structures of organized immune cells and finally Infiltraterate where immune cells dispersed among and in direct contact with tumor cells (INFILT). Abstract : Metoderna att odla jordbruksmark är många. Dessa odlingssystem påverkar markstrukturen och markhälsan på olika vis. Markhälsa är ett begrepp som blir allt viktigare. Under 2023 kommer EU med nya markdirektiv som ska säkra långsiktig odling och hjälpa till att nå klimatmålen. READ MORE

  3. 3. Bluegreengrey (BGG) solution for future climate and flood-resilient urban drainage network by enhancing the natural hydrological cycle

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Teknisk vattenresurslära

    Abstract : A loop of urbanization, increasing impervious surface in urban areas, increasing temperature, rainfall, surface runoff and flooding, and lack of new spaces have been adding challenges to urban drainage systems for decades. The climate change impacts are exposing the existing vulnerable conventional urban drainage systems to more challenges in the future. READ MORE

READ MORE

  5. 5. Space Heat Power Demand for Existing Buildings : Feasibility, Improvement-Measures, and Impact on Climate Performance Using a Swedish Multi-Dwelling Building as Case Study

    University essay from Högskolan i Gävle/Energisystem och byggnadsteknik

    Author : Andreas Holmén; [2022]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : The most commonly used indicators of energy performance of existing buildings in Sweden, Specific Energy Use (SEU) and Primary Energy Use (PEU), are very rough measures that does not account for short term effects and therefore they are not necessarily well suited to evaluate climate performance of existing buildings. In this thesis the similar but slightly different indicators Miljöbyggnad Heat Power Demand (MHPD) (Värmeeffektbehov in Swedish) and Feby Heat Loss Number (FHLN) (Värmeförlusttal in Swedish), both indicators of Space Heat Power Demand (SHPD), has been evaluated as complementary indicators to SEU and PEU.
