  1. 11. The Chirality-Flow Method for Massive and Electroweak Amplitudes

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisation

    Author : Joakim Alnefjord; [2020]
    Keywords : chirality-flow; chirality; flow; spinor-helicity; tree-level; diagram; amplitude; Physics and Astronomy;

    Abstract : In this thesis I extend the chirality-flow method to the full standard model at tree-level by including massive particles and electroweak interactions. The chirality-flow method is a new diagrammatic method for calculating Feynman diagrams that is based on the spinor-helicity formalism, that before this thesis was written had been worked out for massless QED and QCD at tree-level. 2. 12. Steady ideal flows with vorticity in toroidal domains and periodic cylinders

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Matematik LTH; Lunds universitet/Matematik (naturvetenskapliga fakulteten)

    Author : Gustav Jillbratt; [2020]
    Keywords : Partial differential equations; Euler equation; Vorticity; Fluid dynamics; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Abstract : In a paper from 1970, Lortz constructs rotational solutions to the steady Euler equation in toroidal domains using a fixed point method. We shall review this method and rewrite it using Banach's fixed point theorem. READ MORE
