  1. 11. Unsupervised Anomaly Detection and Root Cause Analysis in HFC Networks : A Clustering Approach

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Povel Forsare Källman; [2021]
    Keywords : Anomaly Detection; Root Cause Analysis; Cluster Analysis; k- means; Self- Organizing Map; Gaussian Mixture Model; Dimensionality Reduction; Principal Component Analysis; Hybrid Fiber- Coaxial Network.; Anomalidetektering; Rotfelsanalys; Klusteranalys; k- means; Self- Organizing Map; Gaussian Mixture Model; Dimensionsreducering; Principal Component Analysis; Hybrid Fiber Coax- nät.;

    Abstract : Following the significant transition from the traditional production industry to an informationbased economy, the telecommunications industry was faced with an explosion of innovation, resulting in a continuous change in user behaviour. The industry has made efforts to adapt to a more datadriven future, which has given rise to larger and more complex systems. READ MORE

  2. 12. Clustering of Financial Account Time Series Using Self Organizing Maps

    University essay from KTH/Matematisk statistik

    Author : Magnus Nordlinder; [2021]
    Keywords : Kohonen; financial accounts; self organizing maps; clustring; time series; Kohonen; finansiella konton; klustring; tidsserier;

    Abstract : This thesis aims to cluster financial account time series by extracting global features from the time series and by using two different dimensionality reduction methods, Kohonen Self Organizing Maps and principal component analysis, to cluster the set of the time series by using K-means. The results are then used to further cluster a set of financial services provided by a financial institution, to determine if it is possible to find a set of services which coincide with the time series clusters. 3. 13. Influence of different colormaps on the perceptual interpretation of numerical values produced by a self-organizing feature map

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Gabriel Ulander Voltaire; [2021]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : To visualize important information and generating a well suited colormap to represent the features of interest in a dataset is complicated. Some colormaps provide with less accurate insights of the data. Meanwhile other colormaps can provide effectively a stronger understanding and identifcation of features in the data. READ MORE

  4. 14. Självorganiserande matnätverk : producenters perspektiv på REKO-ringar

    University essay from SLU/Dept. of Urban and Rural Development

    Author : Marika Kronberg; [2021]
    Keywords : REKO-ringar; alternativa matnätverk; producenter; självorganisering; närproducerad mat; lokalproducerad mat;

    Abstract : Som reaktion på det globala livsmedelssystemets brister har det uppstått alternativa sätt att producera och distribuera mat. I Sverige är REKO-ringar är ett alternativt matnätverk som vuxit fram under de senaste åren och som också speglar det ökade intresset för närproducerad mat. READ MORE

  5. 15. Quantifying panarchy of lake systems: implication for resilience and management (Case study)

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Author : Ran Hur; [2021]
    Keywords : Sustainable Development; Liming; Panarchy; Resilience; Lake ecosystem; Natural resource management;

    Abstract : Liming has been used extensively in Sweden, but the management success has been only partial, mostly mitigating the impact of acidification rather than restoring the ecological communities to a self-maintaining pre-acidified state. Rather than a sound restoration tool, liming is a form of command-and-control management that comprises a significant disturbance in the system, which manifests in the form of profound alterations of biophysical settings of lakes.
