  1. 1. Block copolymer-based hybrid nanomaterials for nanoimprint applications

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Fasta tillståndets fysik; Lunds universitet/Lunds Tekniska Högskola

    Author : Philip Sellin; [2022]
    Keywords : Block copolymer; Sequential infiltration synthesis; Nanoimprint lithography; Reactive ion etching; Self-assembly; Thermal annealing; Solvent vapour annealing; Nanoprocessing; Nanofabrication; Antibacterial; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : In this Master’s thesis project, a block copolymer (BCP) film was used in combination with sequential infiltration synthesis and etching to manufacture a nanoimprint lithography stamp consisting of silicon. The BCP film was designed to contain perpendicularly aligned hexagonally placed cylinders, a pattern that will later be investigated for antibacterial properties after being transferred via nanoimprint lithography to a polymer film. 2. 2. Alternative Architectures of Quantum Dot Solar Cells

    University essay from KTH/Tillämpad fysikalisk kemi

    Author : Astrid Bergman; [2021]
    Keywords : Quantum dots; Solar cells; PbS; Alternative architectures; electron transporting layer; Kvantprickar; solceller; PbS; alternativa arkitekturer; elektrontransportlager;

    Abstract : Kvantprickar är intressanta för tillverkning av solceller på grund av möjligheten att justera bandgapet beroende på kvantpricksstorleken. I detta examensarbete har alternativa arkitekturer av PbS kvantprickssolceller testats samt att påverkan av olika lager har utvärderats. READ MORE

  3. 3. Design of solvent vapor annealing tool and study of kinetics of selfassembly of block copolymers for nano-lithography

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Fasta tillståndets fysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Author : Chujun Wang; [2020]
    Keywords : Physics and Astronomy;

    Abstract : Block copolymer lithography is a very promising candidate for nanoscale fabrication and is economically viable. It provides a high resolution, inexpensive, and straightforward approach to nano-size patterning. In this thesis, fundamental concepts and theories of block copolymer lithography are introduced. 4. 4. The impact on the morphology of the active layer from an organic solar cell by using different solvents

    University essay from

    Author : Robbert Schelfhout; [2017]
    Keywords : organic solar cells; polymer solar cells; morphology of active layer; polymer blend; solvent annealing; spin coating; dip coating; time resolved fluorescence; steady state fluorescence; absorption spectroscopy; atomic force microscopy;

    Abstract : The rise in the world population can be correlated with an increase in energy need. Fossil fuels are not going to able to cover this need in energy because not only are they limited, they also have a negative effect on the environment. A reason the more to switch renewable energy. One of the most popular renewable energy source is solar energy. READ MORE
