  1. 1. Managing Innovation in Knowledge-Intensive SMEs: A Multiple Case Study of Balancing Exploration and Exploitation

    University essay from Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Author : Anders Persson; Filip Mannefred; [2023-07-20]
    Keywords : Ambidexterity; Innovation management; Innovation Strategy; Innovation Processes; Knowledge-Intensive firms; SMEs;

    Abstract : Managing the innovation processes and strategies is a common challenge for companies due to the complexity and difficulties of creating processes that favor exploitation and exploration, and not limiting the capabilities to one or the other. Being able to have a split focus and balancing these capabilities constitutes a paradox since stability and predictability are associated with exploitation, and since risk and unpredictability are associated with exploration. 2. 2. Interaction for flexural column buckling : Analytical procedures compared with FE-simulations

    University essay from KTH/Bro- och stålbyggnad

    Author : Noah Norberg; [2023]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : This master's thesis presents a study on the stability of steel structures under flexural bucklingconstraints. The study focuses on the interaction and behaviour of flexural buckling formulas in SSEN-1993-1-1 and Swedish BSK and the performance of actual structural members subjected to suchconstraints. 3. 3. Investigating self-discharge in a graphite dual-ion cell using in-situ Raman spectroscopy.

    University essay from Uppsala universitet/Strukturkemi

    Author : Ismail Yussuf Hassan; [2023]
    Keywords : graphite; dual-ion battery; parasitic reaction; cathode-electrolyte interface; anion intercalation; concentrated electrolyte; self-discharge; Raman spectroscopy;

    Abstract : Anion intercalation in the graphite positive electrode of a dual-ion battery requires high potential (> 4.3 V vs Li+/Li), which aggravates parasitic reactions involving electrolyte decomposition and Al corrosion, manifesting in poor coulombic efficiency, cycle life, and quick self-discharge. 4. 4. On analysis of HSQ steel beams combined with a CLT flooring system

    University essay from KTH/Bro- och stålbyggnad

    Author : Yasir Zahid; Yasir Zeito; [2023]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : With the aspiration of modern-day society to achieve a more environmentally friendly andsustainable world, several industries of the world are continuously and constantly examiningdifferent possibilities to reduce the climate impact of the world. For the construction industry,this is no different. READ MORE

  5. 5. Reprocessing and Characterization of Polybenzimidazole for High-Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntes

    Author : Douglas Björkengren; [2023]
    Keywords : polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells; PEMFC; HTPEMFC; polymer technology; polymer characterization; reprocessing; recycling; polybenzimidazole; PBI; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : A reprocessing method of poly(2,2’-(m-phenylene)-5,5’-bibenzimidazole) (PBI) membranes recovered from the production line of High-Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells (HT-PEMFC) at Blue World Technologies (BWT) has been developed in order to reduce material loss in the production. Redissolution of scrap PBI membranes in poly(phosphoric acid) (PPA) and phosphoric acid (PA) was successful and the subsequent washing procedure produced PBI that could be redissolved in N,N-dimethyl acetamide (DMAc) and suitable for solution casting of new membranes.
