  1. 1. On the emergent relative distancebetween quantum systems

    University essay from KTH/Fysik

    Author : Sebastian Jovancic; [2022]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : In an emergent spacetime framework where relative distances between quantum systemsare determined by the mutual information between the systems, an entangled pairmust be shown to have a non-zero distance even though its mutual information is maximalby virtue of being maximally entangled. This report shows that in fact an entangledpair is only maximally entangled in some degrees of freedom such as spin, and when oneintroduces other quantum degrees of freedom the mutual information is no longer maximaland so a non-zero distance can be recovered. 2. 2. Quantum structure of holographic black holes

    University essay from KTH/Fysik

    Author : Elias Riedel Gårding; [2020]
    Keywords : BTZ spacetime; black hole; wormhole; AdS CFT; holographic renormalisation; analytic continuation; Bogolyubov transformation; QFT in curved spacetime; BTZ-rumtid; svart hål; maskhål; AdS CFT; holografisk renormering; analytisk fortsättning; Bogolyubov-transformation; kvanfältsteori i krökt rumtid;

    Abstract : We study a free quantum scalar field in the BTZ spacetime as a model of the AdS/CFT correspondence for black holes, and show the essential steps in computing Bogolyubov coefficients between modes on either side of the wormhole. As background, we review the BTZ geometry in standard, Kruskal and Poincaré coordinates, holographic renormalisation of the dual field theory and canonical quantisation in curved spacetime. 3. 3. Virtual-Channel Based Wormhole NoC on FPGA for ForSyDe/NoC System Generator Tool Suite

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Zhang Runzi; [2018]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Nowadays, the number of processors integrated on system-on-chip (SoC) increases rapidly and makes multiprocessor system-on-chip design (MPSoC) a regular feature of the embedded system. [25] To support the communication between several homogeneous or heterogeneous processors a communication infrastructure, Networkon-Chip (NoC) technology was raised more than ten years ago. 4. 4. Security in low power wireless networks : Evaluating and mitigating routing attacks in a reactive, on demand ad-hoc routing protocol

    University essay from Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Author : Tony Fredriksson; Niklas Ljungberg; [2017]
    Keywords : IoT; Security; Ad-hoc Routing; RIME; Sinkhole; Selective Forwarding; Sybil; Intrusion Detection System;

    Abstract : Using low energy devices to communicate over the air presents many challenges to reach security as resources in the world of Internet Of Things (IoT) are limited. Any extra overhead of computing or radio transmissions that extra security might add affects cost of both increased computing time and energy consumption which are all scarce resources in IoT. 5. 5. Analysing Real-Time Traffic in Wormhole-Switched On-ChipNetworks

    University essay from Mälardalens högskola/Inbyggda system

    Author : Taodi Wu; Shuyang Ding; [2016]
    Keywords : network-on-chip; wormhole switching; fixed-priority; round robin; schedula-bility analysis;

    Abstract : With the increasing demand of computation capabilities, many-core processors are gain-ing more and more attention. As a communication subsystem many-core processors, Network-on-Chip (NoC) draws a lot of attention in the related research fields. A NoC is used to deliver messages among different cores. READ MORE
