CONNECTION | Vision Järva

Abstract: The project originated from a phenomenon in Stockholm, where immigrant communities are becoming increasingly independent in the city and lack connections with the city and other communities. Moreover, these immigrant communities have a bad reputation and their names usually represent dangerous areas of the city. So this proposal creates a slightly less practical vision by analyzing immigrant areas. Iconic buildings can bring a unique character to the community, increase the influence of the community in the minds of people, and attract more people to come and stay. It also improves the life of the residents in the community by providing more educational development opportunities for the youth, improving education, and raising income. There is also a need to consider how architecture can be integrated into the environment in a better form within the natural environment. Use this vision to think about strategies on how to make community connections and how to improve the reputation of immigrant communities.
