Abstract: This report looks at the possibility for a residential area to install charg-ing stations on their three parking lots. It analyzes the amount of chargingstations that can be installed today by looking at available power, the res-idents driving habits and how the average Swedish persons driving habitslook like. This data is used both in calculation and a simulation to deter-mine how many charging stations can be installed at each parking lot. Thereport also looks to the future needs of charging stations by analyzing thegrowth rate for electrical vehicles. The future for EV:s in Sweden is bothanalyzed regionally and locally, to then be applied at BRF Gr ̈asl ̈oken. Thereport looks into different companies who install charging stations to get abetter understanding on how a charging station work. It takes a deeper alook into what the market can supply to decide what solution best matchesthe needs for the residential area. Furthermore, the report handles paymentmodels for the charging stations as well. However the main focus is not onthe companies and the payment model, but the needed and possible amountof charging stations for the residential area.
