Sexual harassment in Readymade Garment Sectors (RMGs) - A case of Bangladesh

Abstract: The thesis focuses on the issue of sexual harassment against female workers in the readymade garment sectors of Bangladesh (RMGs). The study looks at this issue from the employers' perspective and it aims to shed light on: i) their acknowledgement of this problem, ii) their approach towards it. The thesis is a qualitative conducted study where interviews were used as a data collection tool. Few theories were used to guide this study whichwillallowthe thesis to reach to its conclusion with analysis of the collected dataand the findings of the data will show whether the employers acknowledgesexualharassment against their female workersas a problem.
