A mathematical model of the soliton laser with external cavity

Abstract: This thesis is devoted to mathematical modelling, including numerical simulation, in nonlinear laser physics. We study the concrete problem of finding optimal parameters for soliton lasers which is important for many applications. The basic mathematical tool used in our studies is the theory of nonlinear differential equations and numerical methods of their investigations.
