The building process from planning to execution

Abstract: The report’s purpose is to describe the requirements for Peab on two ongoing projects, Livdragonen and Flygvapenmuseum, concerning quality, environment and health. In addition, it describes how Peab will respond to these requirements. The legal demands of the community are detailed in the Miljöbalken (Environmental Code), Arbetsmiljölagen (Work Environment Act) and Plan- och bygglagen – PBL (Plan and Building Act – PBL). Allmänna bestämmelser (Construction Industry Regulations) detail the format of the contract between the contractor and the client, if they have such an agreement. Administrativa föreskrifterna (The Administrative Regulations) formulate the customer’s requirement for the project, with which the contractor is expected to comply. Peab meet these requirements through their use of practices and procedures, based on the above laws and regulations. These practices and procedures are there not only to achieve Peab´s goals and visions but also to achieve the community and the customer's requirements.
