Building of a Component Development Process in an Integrated Environment

Abstract: The main goal of this thesis is to provide the reusability feature for the development process of component-based embedded system based on SaveCCM technology. This thesis work involves researching different solutions of Eclipse-based IDE and looking for an appropriate solution. The implementation of our research was to develop a repository browser, an interface to the SAVECCM component library. This enables users to browse SAVECCM repository from SAVECCM Integrated Development Environment using standard interface, to import and export existing components from remote and to local storage, respectively. We also design the structure of the component library and define the development process for users in reusing theexisting component while developing SAVECCM component.
