Abstract: 21st Century Satan:  Modern Day Faith Healer’s Perceptions and Experiences of the Devil in the Philippines Abstract  The aim of this qualitative research study is to explore the contemporary perceptions of Satan and give life to the personal encounters of what 3 Albularyo or modern day faith healers in the Philippines believe is the Devil himself.  The study will highlight the respondent’s individual experiences and reflections over the impact it has on their life.  Interpretative Phenomenological Approach (IPA) has been used as a method through semi-structured interviews.  The study suggests that the perceptions of the supernatural are varied and do not necessarily depend on the Minimally Counterintuitive concept within the study of Cognitive Science of Religion in Religious Psychology.  The study also brings new perspectives on how the experiences affected the lives of the respondents.    Keywords: Anthropomorphization, Cognitive Science of Religion, Demon, Devil, Faith healer, HADD, MCI, Perceptions,  Philippines Albularyo, Religious Psychology, Supernatural, Satan
