Formulating Launch Conditions for a Sounding Rocket

Abstract: Data from Super Dual Auroral Network (Super-Darn) is analysed to look forFarley–Buneman irregularities in the auroral electrojet above Esrange, in orderto to suggest launch contidions for the SPIDER rocket. The SPIDER rocketaims study the auroral electrojet in situ, by launching a sounding rocket into theaurora. The data was collected between 2002 and 2010 using the Super-Darnradar in Hankasalmi, Finland.
