Abstract:     In the struggle for reducing the environmental impact of information and communication sector emphasis Telecommunication and wireless network, power consumption of the network has become more attention topics. Though mobile communication network are responsible of small sharing of total globally energy consumption, reducing this power consumption has become an essential key from perspective of environment impacts and operator cost views. Approximately 90 percent energy consume due to the core network, and radio access network (Mobile Station and Base Station) in wireless network and whereas the BTS is the main energy hungry component which consume maximum energy of that. Within base station, a huge amount of energy is wasted in the power amplifier and through the antenna feeder cable. This paper deals with study and analysis of the investigating power consumption in wireless network and investigating the possible way to reduce the power consumption at Base Station and characterize few linearization techniques to improve the linearity and efficiency of RF power amplifier. In this regard, we also try to characterize the amount of power, which can be saved by shutting down or putting the BCCH carrier channel or TRX on sleep mood during the low traffic period. Finally this project subsequently relates goal the power consumption reduction in wireless and mobile communication network being environmental   sustainable and friendly.
