Abstract: People's attitudes towards agile work differ as much as opinions do about any other topic. Some prefer working in an agile environment and others are certain that other ways of work are superior. This thesis is about investigating Sweco employees' attitudes, experience and general thoughts about agile. To do this, I will conduct a study where the participants are asked about how much they agree with common agile benefits and drawbacks, general background questions and what they think the future for Sweco holds regarding agile. The study's results are produced with a web-based questionnaire. The questionnaire contains both free-text answers and multiple-choice questions. On the quantifiable questions, factor analysis was done to find any underlying factors for a participant's attitudes. The results show that an overwhelming majority of the participants had positive attitudes towards agile methods. Some raised concerns about the additional effort and time required for an agile project while still being positive overall.
