Monito: A scalable, extensible and robust monitoring and testdeployment solution for planetary scaled network.

Abstract: Development of a monitoring and testing solution using gossip and leader election protocols. This solution has to ensure scalability, extensibility, over nodes distributed in a planetary-scaled network, up to several thousands of monitored units. The reliability and quality of the network should not limit the performances of the framework. The goals are also to limit the costs and additions of components and computer resources, without interfering with the services delivered by the monitored structure. The project is limited to data collection, test distribution, protocols and architecture description, but does not provide any solutions for human interaction interfaces.
