FiP - Ett kostnadseffektivt hjälpmedel för ett likvärdigt skydd mot olyckor? Ett analys av Gästrike Räddningstjänsts satsning på FiP - första insatsperson

Abstract: This report evaluates the new project FiP, First Responder, at Gästrike Fire Department. It focuses on the socio-economic benefits relative the costs. The additional costs for the project are identified. Then an average time difference, between the first responder and the next fire unit on the scene, is calculated based on the incident reports from the Swedish SOS [emergency response services]. Finally a cost-benefit analysis is calculated and evaluated to improve the efficiency of the project and to make suggestions for a more equal protection against accidents for the local residents.
