Blood vessel segmentation for neck and head computed tomography angiography

Abstract: This thesis presents tests and discussions evaluating different methods for doing automatic or semi automatic blood vessel segmentation on single CT data volumes of the head and neck. The two approaches being closest to accomplish this are a bone subtracting registration process, and a more advanced region growing combined with morphology.
