REAPPEARANCE OF GENDER DISPUTES IN THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CONSUMPTION SCENARIO
Abstract: This thesis used the qualitative textual analysis research method to study the blog content and comments of the DiDi Hitch algorithm controversial published by China News on Weibo. The purpose was to explore netizens’ views on gender bias and conflict in artificial intelligence consumption scenarios, as well as the drawbacks of DiDi Travel when adapting to artificial intelligence algorithms. In the end, I found that gender panopticon exists on both platforms and social media. Although cyberfeminism has awakened in Chinese social media, it was still hindered by patriarchal cultural habits.
