A study on how to improve the mass evacuation at sea with the use of survival crafts

Abstract: The development of maritime safety is often triggered by accidents. The purpose of this study is to learn how mass evacuation with survival crafts can be improved at sea, by reviewing the publicly available information from some of the most recent accidents. Information has been collected and analyzed from official investigation reports, passenger statements and the reporting of media. In addition, interviews have been conducted with experts in the maritime field in order to reach conclusions.
