Abstract: The purpose of this research paper is to explore interdependencies between existing ideas and concepts in the area of business relationships. On the basis of this, a basic model is being developed in order to understand the specifics of relationships in newly-developed business networks. By exploring new business networks in an under-researched industry of the FMCG-sector, the theoretical conceptualization and practical contribution shall clarify how business roles and relationships are being determined.
