  1. 1. Traces of Iron Age activities at Kullen - A New Synthesis

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Arkeologi

    Author : Karolina Jacobsen; [2023]
    Keywords : iron age; Scania; kullaberg; kullen; social structures; GIS; spatial analysis; assemblage theory; affordance theory; entanglement theory; power; resources; older remains; social roles; sites; functions; landscape archaeology; social; culture; activities; cultural landscapes; historical legacies; History and Archaeology;

    Abstract : Kullen has had a huge gap in knowledge about the Iron Age period. This thesis offers a new synthesis to close this gap in knowledge of the Iron Age period in the region. The aim of this study was to gain more knowledge about the Iron Age and the activities during this period in the areas. READ MORE

    Abstract : Testing, verification and validation of sensors, components and systems is vital in the early-stage development of new cars with computer-in-the-car architecture. This can be done with the help of the existing technique, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing which, in the close loop testing case, consists of four main parts: Real-Time Simulation Platform, Sensor Simulation PC, Interface Unit (IU), and unit under test which is, for instance, a Vehicle Computing Unit (VCU). 3. 3. Far-field pattern synthesis of transmitarray antennas using convex optimization techniques

    University essay from KTH/Tillämpad fysik

    Author : Marie Defives; [2022]
    Keywords : Applied physics; Transmitarray antennas; convex optimization; Tillämpad fysik; Transmitarray-antenner; konvex optimering;

    Abstract : Transmitarrays antennas (TAs) can be seen as the planar counterpart of optical lenses. They are composed of thin radiating elements (unit cells) which introduce different local phase shifts on an incident electromagnetic wave, emitted by a primary source, and re-radiate it. READ MORE

  4. 4. Block copolymer-based hybrid nanomaterials for nanoimprint applications

    University essay from Lunds universitet/Fasta tillståndets fysik; Lunds universitet/Lunds Tekniska Högskola

    Author : Philip Sellin; [2022]
    Keywords : Block copolymer; Sequential infiltration synthesis; Nanoimprint lithography; Reactive ion etching; Self-assembly; Thermal annealing; Solvent vapour annealing; Nanoprocessing; Nanofabrication; Antibacterial; Technology and Engineering;

    Abstract : In this Master’s thesis project, a block copolymer (BCP) film was used in combination with sequential infiltration synthesis and etching to manufacture a nanoimprint lithography stamp consisting of silicon. The BCP film was designed to contain perpendicularly aligned hexagonally placed cylinders, a pattern that will later be investigated for antibacterial properties after being transferred via nanoimprint lithography to a polymer film.
