  1. 21. Three-dimensional modelling of the Källfallsgruvan iron oxide deposit, Riddarhyttan ore field, Bergslagen, Sweden: Integrating existing and new data to aid understanding of structural controls and mineral exploration

    University essay from Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurser

    Author : Edna Spahic; [2021]
    Keywords : Three-dimensional modelling; Mineral exploration; Bergslagen; Riddarhyttan ore field; Källfallsgruvan iron-oxide deposit;

    Abstract : The Bergslagen ore province, located in the Fennoscandian shield in the south-central part of Sweden hosts several metallic mineral deposits, one of them being the Källfallsgruvan iron-oxide deposit in the Riddarhyttan ore field, situated in a high-strain shear belt denoted as the West Bergslagen Boundary Zone (WBBZ).  An accurate 3D geological model of the Källfallsgruvan iron-oxide deposit has been generated to aid understanding of the ore body geometries and calculating volume and tonnage. 2. 22. Barrier properties of model coatings using recycled iron oxide pigment

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)

    Author : Nathalie Hagenfjärd; [2021]
    Keywords : Organic coatings; Iron oxide pigment; EIS; Barrier properties;

    Abstract : The aim of this study was to compare the barrier properties of organic coatings with the same polymer matrix but different types of iron oxide particles, commercial and recycled. The work was carried out for the company SSAB with the aim of investigating whether the pigment Merox ferric oxide, which is produced in-house at the company during the pickling process, can be used and replace commercial iron oxide pigment. 3. 23. Kinetic interpretation of microstructures in the Gällivare area; implications for deformation phases and related metamorphic events.

    University essay from Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och naturresurser

    Author : Linnéa Jansson Fagerlund; [2021]
    Keywords : Geology; Northern Sweden; Gällivare; Nautanen Deformation Zone; Fjällåsen Deformation Zone; Microstructures;

    Abstract : The goal of this study was to identify and describe different microstructures observed in samples from two major shear zones in the Gällivare area, namely the Nautanen Deformation Zone (NDZ), and the Fjällåsen deformation zone (FDZ). Thirteen samples were examined during this study. READ MORE

  4. 24. Utvärdering av SediVue Dx med hund- och katturin : kan ett instrument ersätta manuell räkning av urinsediment i mikroskop?

    University essay from SLU/Dept. of Clinical Sciences

    Author : Beatrice Utterström; [2020]
    Keywords : urinsediment; SediVue; hund; katt; erytrocyt;

    Abstract : Analys av urin är en viktig undersökning som ger information om urinvägarna och njurarnas funktion samt ibland även om sjukdomar utanför urinvägarna, som exempelvis diabetes mellitus. Urinanalysen består av att undersöka urinens färg och transparens, specifik vikt, kemisk analys via urinsticka och manuell bedömning av urinsediment. READ MORE

  5. 25. The Impact of Voltage Dip Characteristics on Low Voltage Ride Through of DFIG-based Wind Turbines

    University essay from KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Author : Cheng Chen; [2019]
    Keywords : DFIG; wind power; low voltage ride through; power quality; voltage dip;

    Abstract : In last decade, there is a large increase in installed capacity of wind power. Asmore wind power is integrated into utility networks, related technologychallenges draw much attention. The doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) isthe mainstream choice for wind turbine generator (WTG) in current market andthe object of this thesis. READ MORE
