Abstract: Interventionen i ergoterapi og i haveterapi har fokus på interaktionen mellem person, aktivitet og faktorer i omgivelserne, hvilket er omdrejningspunktet for specialet. Formålet har været at undersøge aktiviteternes betydning og faktorer i omgivelserne som har betydning for deltagere der har gennemført et forløb i den svenske rehabiliteringshave i Alnarp. Deltagerne er overvejende stressramte og har symptomer på udbrændthed. Kvalitativ forskningsmetode valgtes ved narrative interviews og kortlægning samt rundvandring i Alnarps Rehabiliteringshave. Deltagerne i dette speciale var tre svenske kvinder, 47-56 år som deltog i et 8-12 ugers rehabiliteringsforløb i en gruppe i efteråret 2006. Narrativ analyse af interview sammen med tværanalyse af rundvandring og kortlægning gav undersøgelsens resultater. Resultater viste, at det har betydning for deltagerne at der er sammenhæng mellem udførelse af aktiviteter og omgivelserne, hvor rehabiliteringen finder sted. Omgivelserne viste sig at have stor betydning for deltagerne og skal ses ud fra et bredt perspektiv med vægt på personale, de andre gruppedeltagere, foretrukne pladser, havens design og oplevelser. Resultatet har ligheder med tankerne bag "The Instorative School" med fokus på design, aktiviteter, deltagelse og oplevelser, hvilket Alnarps Rehabiliteringshave er udformet efter. Resultater viste, at deltagerne har meget varieret behov for at udføre og deltage i aktiviteter med tilknytning til haven. Endvidere at der er sammenfald og forskelligheder i aktiviteternes betydning for deltagerne. Resultater viste også, at deltagerne har forskellige behov for at opholde sig udendøre og indendøre under forløbet i Rehabiliteringshaven. ABSTRACT The meaning of occupational performence by the participants of Alnarps Rehabilitationgarden and interaction with the environment The intervention in occupational therapy and horticultural therapy has focus on the interaction between the person, the activity and the environment, which also is the focus of this masterthesis. This study investigated how persons suffering from symptoms after stress and burnout diseases experienced the meaning of activities and the meaning of the environment, while participating in the rehabilitationprogramme of the Rehabilitationgarden in Alnarp, Sweden. A qualitativ researchmethod was choosen with narrative interviews and mapping out and walking in Alnarps Rehabilitationgarden. The participants in this study were three swedish women aged 47-56, who participated in a 8 to 12 weeks group rehabilitationprogramme in the autumn 2006. The results araised from narrative analysis and crossed analysis of the mapping and walking. The results showed a meaningfull interaction between the activities performed in the rehabilitationgarden and the environments in a wide perspective, which mainly were the staff, other groupmenbers, favorite places, design and experiences. The results have similarities to the principles from The Instorative School, which focuses on design, activities and possibilities of participation and experiences. The Rehabilitationgarden in Alnarp has been built on these principles. The results also showed that the participants had very different needs of performing and participating in horticultural activities. Furthermore that the meaning of occupational performance in the rehabilitationgarden have comparativities aswell as diversities for the participants. The results showed that the participants had differents needs of being outdoor and indoor during the time in the Rehabilitationgarden.
